So I've noticed the pivot screw on my CRKT M16 is starting to loosen up a bit (I can actually turn it with my fingernail). I've seen several posts where Loctite was recommended so my question is what kind of Loctite should I use? I've seen several different kinds like super glue, epoxy etc. I'm thinking the Threadlocker would be the best choice but I'm not 100% sure.

To clarify slightly, red can ONLY, make note of that, be broken by heat. Blue can be broken with handtools.

Sorry to interlope,

Alpha Knife Supply sells something called VC-3. You paint it on the threads and let it dry and it can be taken on and off up to 5 times without reapplying.

Blue. Not alot. 24 hours of SITTING. DONT MOVE IT AGAIN. LET IT CURE.
You'll figure it out. About half an hour is all you have to adjust before it begins to get hard.

Blue locktite works great for me. Use on all my folders with a pivot screw. Holds good but not a hassle to loosen it.

To be a little more specific, Loctite Threadlocker 243 which is their formula that is oil tolerant. And yes it is still removable without heat like the regular blue...
