Does anyone use blue (removable) Loctite on the pivot screws of their Emerson folders?

Mine kept backing out so I tried a little on the threads. Did I make a mistake?

I have never used or needed locktite on any of my EKIs, I find the pivot is just fine when kept "thumb pad" tight.

I know some folks here do use it though, or some teflon tape.

I got my Emerson new to me a couple of months ago. The knife itself is 8yrs old and I had to use locktite to keep the pivot screw from backing out. Recently I took it apart to clean/oil it and didn't have difficulty. I did have to re-loctite it however. You should be good to go man!

I used to use blue Loctite on all my folders but not now. Now I use teflon pipe tape. It's not messy and you don't have to wait for it to dry. Just one or two layers around the screw usually does it.
