I got myself one of these knives and have grown quite fond of it. I tend to use it more for heavy clearing than as a survival knife, but it's very good at it. I find the shape quite versatile and the handle is at a good angle.
I do recall someone saying that the steel probably wasn't the best choice for use in a jungle environment, but seeing as I live in the South East of England I don't find that to much of a hindrance
I'm sure there must be someone on here who can give you a fuller review of this item in its natural surroundings
