Log in problems

I’m forever having to log in. Leave my computer for an hour, come back, log in again.

It didn’t used to be this way. Can you guys fix it? Thanks!
 
Explain please....
Is the forum logging you out? If so, make sure you check the "remember me"
box when logging in.

Here’s what happens.

I click Settings. Or I try to post in a thread. Or there’s a demand that I Log In, and I click that box.

I get a box that reads:

You are not logged in or do not have access to this page. This could be for one of several reasons.

After the list of reasons, there is a Log In line.

Below that is a box for a user name.

Below that a box for a password. Fortunately name and password are filled in. If I had to enter them every time it would be a pain.

Below that the Remember Me box. Clicking it does not help.

Below the box are two choices. Log In and Reset Fields.

I click Log In, and I’m in business.

Check the security settings on your browser. It sounds like it is rejecting cookies. I usually have to reduce security to "Accept all cookies", log in with "Remember me" checked, then set security back to where I had it whenever I clear cookies.
