LogFrogs?

Does anybody use these? I'm looking for an alternative to regular log dogs, especially ones that don't mar the wood as much. They're not cheap, but could be very helpful, as I do most of my log handling by myself.

They look very handy for log building. But I don't think they would replace regular log dogs for hewing.

I thought it was neat how they could act as rotating guides. Would make turning easier.

Yeah, that's very cool. Gives me ideas about forging out something simple that would do the same things.
