Logging in every time.

I have to sign in ever time I log on. There is a cookie on my hard drive for the blade forums, but it is obviously not being recognized.

This is just since the server switch a couple of weeks back.

i have the same problem. clicking "remember me" hasnt seemed to help. sometimes i stay logged in, sometimes i dont.
 
I have noticed that I have to log on to Bladeforums quite often. Not every time I open the site, but sometimes two or three times in a day. This isn't happening with any other site that I go to, so it isn't because I'm somehow clearing the cookies. I'm not sure what is going on.
 
i have clicked from one section to another and get logged out. i click back and i was logged back in :confused:.

Make sure your browser security is set to accept cookies from www.bladeforums.com

Also, keep in mind bladeforums.com and www.bladeforums.com are two different things as far as computers & cookies are concerned. Make sure you have javascript turned on as well.
 
I was having the same problem when I was running Internet Explorer, I switched to Firefox and haven't had any problems since.
 
I am running firefox and I just upgraded my java. I put www.bladeforums.com in my cookies folder.
Now I shall wait and see what happens.

Computers are a fascinating frustration.

Eric, I was having the same problem running IE7, and it was getting worse by the week. I'm using Chrome, have been for about 5 days, and haven't been bumped one time.
 
I am using Firefox 3 and am having to clear my cookies every single time I log in from any computer. I get the "Thank you for logging in" and then the "You are not a registered member" until I clear the cookies. This is the only forum that I have this experience with. There really should be a fix. I am going to be upgrading to a premium membership at the beginning of the year. Are premium members experiencing this same issue? I LOVE Blade Forums, but this is really a pain in the ass, and it seems that it should be fixable given that I use other forums that rely on this same engine and yet this is the only place that I have this problem.

I was using FF3 and having same problem, switched to Chrome and it has been fine, never ever get logged out, even after a complete computer shutdown. Go Chrome.

I personally like the ability to right click any link I am unsure of and open it incognito, leaves no traces on your computer or allows any cookies to be placed on it. Some of the links on this forum are misleading and I want no evidence I visited some site I would not have opened if knew what was coming. Go Chrome.
