Logo on knives

They're laser etched, yes? I think you'd have to really work at it to get rid of it, namely wearing off the metal it's etched upon. Short of taking sandpaper to it, they should stick around for a long, long time. If you're thinking of stripping your rat, you can ditch the coating and leave the engraving. But if you sand down the blade for polishing, I think you'll kill the etching.

So in summation. It'll stick around until you sand it off. Normal use shouldn't phase it. Even after the coating's gone, they should stay on the blade.
