Heya Becker-Peoples,

I was watching a trailer for the new chainsaw flick, and I got to wondering, if anyone of you were in the position of the victims--i.e..running from a chainsaw
wielding nutter, what would you want to have with you (Has to be EDC, no firearms bc thats too easy). And, if a Becker knife, which one and why. Lol..this should get some interesting responses. I'm betting many of you will understandably say a Becker-Tactool or a 9..or a Reinhardt Kukri..lol.

Trivia Question:Which is the most versatile of ALL BKs??

Ok, I KNOW you're all wondering what my answer would be..lol..after all..I'm B2D..and a bit of a goof. I'd want steel-toed boots..why? I'd kick him in the coconuts with one, and if he was still coming after me, take off the other and throw at the bastard! Well, either that or use it as an improvised sap..lol. As for a Becker..hmmmm...the 11 has never let me down yet...but for pitys sake we're talking about a chainsaw!! Lol :-)

Hehehe..knowing my luck, my bootlaces would be undone and I'd fall flat on my face... Lol.. :-) Enjoy Becker-Peoples!! I actually started to say a good pair of worn in sneakers--so I could get the hell outta dodge. ;-)
 
Yea I'm not so sure I'd be trying to kick someone with a chainsaw. Id just run through the woods as fast as I can (which isnt very fast) and hope he gets bored with me and decides to use it for its intended purpose of cutting down a tree. If that didnt work. Throw my 14 at him and hope it sticks, then run when I miss completely.
 
But...anytime you run in a horror movie the killer always gets ahead of you, you fall, and then you get squisher-squashed!! :-) Well, a kick to the beanies would atleast give him something to remember :-) That or I'd moon the em'..that's far more terrifying than any chainsaw.. :-D
 
Slightly off-topic, but I got a funny story concerning running away from someone with a chainsaw.

A few years ago I was hanging out with a group of friends at a lake near where I lived. We were about 20 people, and we wanted to have a campfire, so I brought my dad's Stihl. We were sitting around there, it was well after sundown, say 2300, and getting pretty dark. Suddenly, there are about 5 turks/arabs/whatever in the light of our campfire... one has an axe, one a machete, one is carrying a trashbag. As it turns out, they want our wallets, watches, phones and whatnot.

My buddy and I get up, and he racks the slide of his gas pistol while I start my chainsaw... I've never seen a bunch of turks run that fast, and I've never gotten so many phone numbers from girls on one evening... :D

As for defence against a nutcase with a chainsaw? I think I'll be fine with my EDC, a BK-14... bolted to a 6ft pole.
 
I'd want a good walking stick - preferably one made from Ironwood or Beau d' Arc. That would give me the reach I would need to knock the snot outta the bastid. My Becker knife would definitely be my BK-5. I would slice, dice & filet him before he he could say "What the Fisk?!?!" :D

i take an axe handle saw what one could too too a pt on new years eve!! nothing says i love ya like hickory too the head!! she was 5'1 beat him too death nearly after he pushed her off a deck at a party lol i got too take him too the trauma center!

EDC where? Because my EDC around "civilized" people is only a BK-11. Once I'm home and back out in the woods, that changes with the addition of a tomahawk and BK-5.

From 30 feet away I can stick that tomahawk right in his face.
 
Well, if it's a Poulan I'd just twist open a Black & Tan and watch him f*%k with the carb mixture for a while. Then gut him with my Phat Bob when he got winded from pulling the rope.

I'd take a 9,Im also in competition shape as far as fighting would go (im a personal trainer and being in shape pays) so my only bet would be to get close and throw him around,once i get the chainsaw away from him I'd take out the 9 and go to town,I promise not to follow the standart movie routine of almost killing him and just staring for 5-10 secs while he gets up,that chainsaw+him=15 pieces and then gasoline.

I wanted to do the exact same thing when people were still smoking in malls and other public places here in the middle east . Unfortunately I don't have a chainsaw .
