Greetings from (not so) sunny London. I've been a lurker on here for a while, finally joined last month, and this is my first post so... hello!
I work in IT and I hate it. I've decided to try to make some modest bushcrafty-type knives so that I have something other than pages of jumbled characters on a screen to show for my life's work.
I went through a mad collecting phase but these days when I see something sharp I like I think... well one day I will make myself a knife like that.... this approach has saved me a fortune and possibly my marriage too.
Having said that I will still buy the odd blade but I am much more selective now.
Anyway I'm waffling
There's so much fantastic, in-depth information on here it makes my head spin. I look forward to joining in.
