I was watching Lone Target tonight the episode where Joel puts his day pack and much of gear into a large pack able clear dry bag. It's when he is in Poland.

I ford streams and rivers in the winter hunting elk. A large dry bag that squeezes down tight like he used would be a valuable piece of kit. Any idea what it was or something similar??

I don't know what he used, but I use Sealine clear rolltop dry bags when fishing with my sit on top kayak and like them. Variety of sizes, easy to squeeze the air out and roll down.

I think it is nice to have 2-3 small ones so I can separate often used items from last resort items. That way I don't have to risk everything to exposure when I need a frequently used item.

Doesn't sealine make a 60liter dry pag that goes into the ilbe? Pretty sure that will fit in many other packs.

Ziplock makes super big bags out of clear plastic, heavier than their sandwich bags. I have some about 24"x24". They are watertight when zipped, but not as sturdy as vinyl rollup drybags. I keep a couple on my motorcycle to stuff my gear in if I must ride into a bad storm.
