Lone wolf harsey D/T series

I am interested in hearing from people who have or had any of the lone wolf harsey ranger T/D series (pre benchmade take over.) I always wanted one and might make an effort track one down if people who had one think its worth it. Obviously this isn't a knife I can try or handle in person and I'm assuming that any that I can find for sale will be fairly expensive so I'll have to go off my fellow blade lovers opinions. Thanks in advance.

Not my pics,I just grabbed 'em off G.I. to show what turned me off about them..they put the clip on the wrong end of the knife with no option for another way to carry 'em but in a sheath.(which they came with)
Also the lanyard hole is on the end that goes into the pocket.
Other than that they are well built knives, made of great steel & handle materials.

Excellent, good to see even though benchmade desecrated lone wolf :grumpy: (and I like benchmade) there are still harsey folders available. Checking out the fantoni knives now.

Ramzar thanks for pointing me towards the Fantoni knives, I think the HB01 black may be exactly what I was looking for.

I had one I sold here. Should have kept it. I liked it. Not sure now why I did let it go. I got it local which is the preferred way I like to get them but mine was the D2 I think. I flipped the clip around on it. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/787479-Lone-Wolf-Harsey-folders?highlight=Lone+Wolf

Not sure how the handle on these wore. They seemed really soft and they stuck and galled to everything including the pocket. The clip had to be extra lose and it still grabbed really tight. It was tight on the factory set up also.

STR, If I'm not mistaken, I think I saw an older thread earlier today in which you had custom/modified a clip for another forum member on a lone wolf harsey. The harsey was the 1st good knife I set out to buy, for some reason I never got around to it, just kind of remembered it a couple days ago.

I have 2 T3s and 3 T2s. Here are a few photos.

I love Bill's designs. He is a genuine and nice guy. In addition to the Fantoni folders, he also makes fixed blades for Spartan Knives.

Those are some good looking knives ryanh121. What's your opinion on STR's comment on the grips, they hold up well?

Patriot,

STR, from what I understand, was commenting on the D series Kraton type handles. The knives I have are the older T series. They used FRN, micarta, or wood. I also have a cocobolo handled T2. I have had no problems at all with the handles on these.

no disrespect but none of those are the harsey ranger knife, pre-t3 , I have a nib ranger s30v and it is massive. Black scales no wood, almost 11 inches.
