anyone know why this series got discontinued?

I just received one I bought used off a forum member, and I can say HOLY SH** this thing is awesome. Smoother than an Asian woman's skin. Holy crap, I want a couple more.

I had always wondered myself! I have a t1 and its the smoothest folder that I currently own! With g10 and s30v for a decent price it was to hard for me to pass up!

Yep, the T2 in Cocobolo was a firm favorite of mine. They got a bad rap on QC a while back. IIRC the owner of New Graham said he sent a load back and either wouldn't sell them again, or that he wouldn't until they sorted QC. Seems a real shame, the were very good for the money.

Beretta was marketing two Harsey folders a few years ago that were very similar to the LW knives ( Beretta BH Tactical series). A few of us here bought them on closeout and they turned out to be very nice knives. They've also been discontinued.

thanks for the info...

this knife is just so sweet and i real love the way it feels.

the fantoni is a great knife! mine is at the factory for some fixing, good service and very high quality from a small company

I have the Lone Wolf Harsey T2 with Ti liners and it is one of my favorite folders. Great S30V blade at 60/61 hrc and the best clip I have seen on a folder. Nice flat profile and light weight. I keep mine clipped to the back of my shorts when canoeing.

That said, I bought a scaled down Harsey T1 in CF and it was a piece of junk. I keep throwing it away, but it keeps showing up in some tool box. Again, great blade, but I think I'll fill the liner lock handle with Epoxy and make a fixed blade !

they have the 2.75" still on their web. It's more like a 3", about the same size as a delica. The larger model (no longer on web site) is more Tyrade size, a little large for EDC, IMHO. The 2.75 is identical to the Fantoni pic above.

I got one of the last ones from cutleryshoppe.com (T-3). I told a friend they had one more and He beat me to it. Fantastic knife it has become my carry folder. Wish I could pick up another.

Yes they are made by Fantoni, My Beretta BH has the Fantoni logo on the tang.

They are excellent knives if anyone is looking for a Harsey style folder and can't find the Lone Wolf version.
