I own a new Harsey T2 Folder and sent it in to Lone Wolf to fix because from the moment it is opened and closed there's a constant scrubbing sound. Received knife back today and still has same issue. Called Lone Wolf and spoke with Charlie who told me that it takes about 500 openings and closings for the operation to smoothen. I have owned a few Lone Wolf knives and have never had one to make a scrubbing sound when opening and closing the blade. Does anyone know if the light scrubbing sound is normal or should I send it back to Lone Wolf?
Thanks.....:)

Many times the same brand/type knife can be super slick, to not so slick, or somewhere in the middle.

The T2's I have handled opened very smooth. I would open and close 500 times like he suggest, that shouldn't take you long tonight. If that doesn't help I may send it back, but your call really. Good luck.

Made it to 500 yet?
I have a T1 (small) and a T3 (HUGE).
Both were a little stiff when new.
Both are somewhat better now.
You can make minor adjustments to the pivot screw.
You will need to Torx keys to do it though, one each side.
Loosen slightly until you like the feel. Then forgetaboutit!
