Hello

I would appreciate any opinion or experiance with the Harsey T2 RANGER or HUNTER.My choice the hunter with cocobolo handle, S30V steel.I had looked long and hard at Benchmades because that is what I truly had my heart set on getting. The knife I was drawn to, (forget the name at the moment)3.20 straight edge, carbon fiber bolster, rosewood handle. Out of production but sell's for approx.$340 on ebay.I prefer a striaght edge, and from what I have read about Mr.Harsey he doe's fine work. The Lone Wolf site and others want well over $200 but one other has it for $141 This seems to me like a lot of semi custom knife for the money.
Please all comments opinions or idea's Thanks kurt
PS The blade is 3.90 handle 4 3/4. Even though I no longer gut and skin animals, I plan on using this rather large folder in and around the house for just about anything, putting the S30V to a test, including bringing it with me when I go out for dinner. Trying to dismember a steak, chicken or chop with a resturant
knife can be futile if not an embarrassment.

Thank you Blue Sky, that is the kind of info I was looking for.
The link you suggested is gone or I am doing something wrong. Was looking forward to reading it.Thank you again for your input, any knowledge or experiance anyone has with the HarseyT2 will help me make a good choice. If it has a serious drawback, I will go with benchmade.

I recently purchased a T2 second-hand that had been sent back to Lone Wolf because of lock issues. I don't recall exactly the issue, but the factory fixed it beautifully! This is one of my favorite knives-lock up is now great, VERY light for the size, and w/ the french walnut handles it is a really good looking knife and it has a smooth action. My only dislike is that the clip makes it ride high in the pocket, but other than that it is just about perfect for me.

Thanks Blue Sky for the link, it was indeed interesting reading, if not a bit scary. And Walter I thank you for your savy advice and opinion.Your bread knife is very impressive, should part loaves like the Red Sea.I will call monday, express my concern's, have him inspect the knife and ship it.I want to thank you both again for helping me out.It really does make a big differnce.

I can tell you I have a Lone Wolf T1 w/carbonfiber & S30V. If the T2 is an Upgrade It has to be an awsome tool. Thats all... L8R...~baba~
