I purchased a used Val-matic and was going to clean it up a bit and try to center the blade. I removed the scales and spring mechanism which seemed pretty straight forward but the spring loaded firing mechanism is no longer activated.
I see that Benchmade purchased LW back in 2011 so I dont think I can locate service but I do enjoy the knife and would pay someone to center the blade and re-assemble in the correct manner...assuming I did not. Is anyone familiar with this model?
