I'm looking into buying a T1 and I'd like to know how the knife is. I've heard that quality is an issue with some models. Any comments? Thanks.

I bought a Lone Wolf Panther over the net and sent it back because the blade had play in the closed position and it was starting to develope sideplay in the open position. Also, a local gunshop here had just started carrying some Lone Wolf knives. The Paul knives all had the same problems. On the Harsey linerlocks had problems of not being centered and one the blade hit the knife frame when closing.IMO you need to examine LW knives before buying. I must add I have never had a problem with my Benchmade knives. Good luck.

Ditto for me... blade play in my Prankster and the grind was crooked.
sent it back.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll avoid them. I'd have to mail order them and won't be able to "Hands on" them.

I have a T1 and it is a great little knife. Very little compared to what I usually carry. Althhough it is small it has one of the most comfortable handles on a folder. Everything on mine was great; perfect lock up, shaving sharp, and no play what so ever. I would deffinetly check it out if you are looking for a small sheeple friendly folder.

Wunderbar, I have the smaller Harsey model with cocobolo handle slabs and CPM S30v blade. I like the design and feel and no issues with fit and finish although I would prefer a thinner grind profile. Hardness is advertised as RC 60 and that is exactly what it is as checked on my in shop hardness tester. Edge holding is great. I don't make folders so needed a carry knife to use on everthing I ran into. I reccommend it... PHIL

I've always liked Harsey's design. Maybe I'll ask the dealer if he'll open the box and do a quick check of the quality. I really love small folders with G-10 handles and the new T-1 comes with G-10. If I go ahead and get one, it could very well replace my Mini AFCK. Now that the Mini AFCK has been discontinued, I've become more weary of using it in fear of it becoming damaged.

Also if you haven't tried carbon fiber you check it out. That is the way mine came and it really adds a lot to the looks.

I had no problems with lockup or blade play. Nice design, good materials, sharpened up well. The fit and finish of the wood (forgot which kind) to liners was very sloppy for a 100.00 knife. I kept it though, it looks nice, you just can't too close before you start thinking I could have bought a spydie or benchmade for this much and gotten a better product. Just my own T1 experience.
