Can any one tell me about the Lone Wolf Knives line. Thinking one for my EDC. Right know my EDC is a Emerson CQC 10. Any help would be great.

I just got a T2 used, it locks up good, it’s sharp, I don’t have any complaints. I have been carrying a SnG for a couple of year though so compared to that I will be a bit more careful in what I do with it. I carried a CQC7 for a 5 years or better, I would think the T2 is every bit a durable as that.

I have a T2 in Cocobolo. As long as SD is not a concern, you should be very happy with it. The blade is the best slicing blade of all my knifes, and I have a lot of knives. Its a true full flat grind, really excellent. The cocobolo is beautiful but can be a little slippery when wet. There were some quality control issues around the time I got mine, the scales are not matched perfectly to the frame but it wasn't enough to return the knife for. I think the wood makes it a little less scary for the sheeple too. The handle is wide enough to be very comfortable in the hand but not too wide for easy pocket carry.

I also have a T2, the CE version.

Had the other version too which I sold - actually here on BF!

(Both with black nylon scales.)

I can tell you that they had absolutely no QC issues, beautifully made with terrific lockup
and razor sharp right out of the box. Reasonably light in weight and a big blade for the
handle size. Both bought just about a year ago.

Definitely recommended.

Thanks for the help. I really liked the D2-DA for work but the Diablo-DA really fit nice in my pocket. Didn't know what to get so I got both. thanks for the help.

The T2 is a terrific knife. Great S30V heat-treated very well, cuts like a dream. Large pivot makes opening and closing a smooth operation. FRN handles work very well for rough use and comfortable for all-day chores.

Recommended!

I think the Lone Wolf Harseys are definitely underrated by most people. I say that because they don't seem to sell or trade well & I don't read much about them.

I've had 1 T1 Tactical (The spear-point model) with rosewood scales (For which I bought a set of G-10 scales for) & 2 T2 Rangers (The flat grind drop-point model).

I had to send the T1 back in for some warranty work (The blade was way off center when closed, then it developed blade play), but that was taken care of VERY quickly by their customer service. The T2's were both great (Both had the black FRN scales) & carried well for a knife its size.

It is said that S30V that LW uses is of a high quality of the current knife industry. I've used S30V of BM, it chips easily.

I have a Diablo DA and a Paul Prankster. The Diablo is great.... nice strong lock up and is very sharp nice snap to the blade. The Prankster is a nice folder with a small amount of play which may be inherent with that type of lock. I like the knife good ergonomics and sharp blade. I have seen some earlier knives that had some flaws but I think they may have fixed the problem. I like them.

I have a Paul Prankster in Cocobolo. I carry the Prankster to the office most days since it is good looking folder. And it meets the laws in NYC. It also has a small amount of play but don't notice it when using. Only if you are checking for it. The 154 CM blade takes a nice edge too.

Thanks for the post lilbuj as I am very fond of the Prankster and was a little worried about the play of the blade. It is very slight play and I do not notice it when I use the knife. I do not think it is anything to be concerned with. This knife has a good feel to it and works great!
