Lone Wolf limited runs

I have been looking at a couple Lone Wolf axial lock and d/a auto knives and noticed that one says it is a limited run, 1 of 255 but there are other knives that say 1 of 255 and they all look different. I will attach some pictures of the 1 of 255, they are from arizonacustomknives, knife center, ebay, and another forum. I believe the ebay and forum pictures are same knife, but not sure. I guess this isnt specific to Lone Wolf knives, but how can there be multiple of the same numbers from a limited run? Did they just make multiple runs of 255 knives and not label them differently?

They are limited but not serialized. So the knife is one of XXX made, not #Y of XXX.
