Lone Wolf made by ???????????

My impression was Lone Wolf doesn't make them, they import them either from Italy or I guess somewhere else.
 
Lone Wolf contracts with various cutlery companies in Japan and elsewhere. I think that final finishing of the Tighe Tac was done in the US. I have one as well and I've handled the custom and there is virtually no difference in quality.

Sorry. I was not clear.

The blade says "Japan." I wondered if anyone knew which company in Japan made the LW Tighe.

Knifenerd seems to think whe final assembly was in the U.S. That seems contra-intuitional if the blades were made in Japan.

The one I received was "A" for fit and finish.
 
I have 3 Lone Wolf knives: Tighe Pan, Paul folder, and a Loveless City Knife. They're all excellent and very well made. The Paul folder is made in the USA and the Loveless City Knife is made by Fantoni in Italy. I'm not sure which Japanese factory makes the Tighe Pan for Lone Wolf. Perhaps Moki?
