Hi all,
This is kind of a silly question for my first post but I could not find anything on this using the search function. I'm about to pick up a Lone Wolf T2 partially serrated but I'm curious about a difference in the serrated section of the blade when comparing photo's from LW's web site and the actual knife I looked over at my local dealer. Pictures from LW's site (as well as many other photo's from the web) show an average looking serrated section of the blade as you see in the picture (upper knife in pic) yet the T2 I saw at the store has a MUCH more aggressive serrated section (like lower inset pic below) than the photo's I've seen. When I say "aggressive" I mean much deeper cuts forming much longer, pointier "teeth". Does anyone know when they made this change and if the more aggressive serrated area is a newer version or is it an "older style". Any input would be great.

Thanks for the link to LoneWolf Knives.
They have a beautifull catalog of knives.
Wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

Those are two different models, also one is completley flat ground while the top pic is not. One is the D2 double action auto(bottom), T2 and the other is a standard T2 with serrations. The models are differen t

I know they are two different models but the D2 was the only pic I could find that showed exactly what I was talking about. Regardless, the T2's serrated edge I saw in the store looked exactly like the D2's pic I posted. I'll be giving LW a call in an hour or so but thanks for the input everyone.

As a follow-up, I did talk with Lone Wolf and in fact they have changed the serrations on the T2 to the more aggressive pattern you see on the picture I posted of the D2's blade. They said they are currently working on updating their website pictures to reflect the new serrated pattern. They are nice people to deal with...... good customer service.
