I really loved the older Lone Wolf knives but didn't have the cash back then. I have large hands and like the ergonomics of the T-3 even if it's far too big to pocket. In the T-2 as well as sharing a very nice design I love that it came in a full cocobolo or walnut handle. I also love rosewood and other woods. I have the large walnut handled Benchmade Bone Collector folder that fits my big mits well.

Are there any other readily
available productions under $350 that are beefy with nice wood like the T-2 or large and indestructible like the T-3. I'd consider customs if not hard to find or a waiting list.

Is my best bet to just suck it up and save up and pay the price for the few T-2s and T-3s that sometimes show up?

After Lone Wolf stopped making them, Beretta and Harsey teamed up. Can get a 4" if you want. It is not exactly the same but its close as you will probably get. I think they are made by fantoni.

If you can have auto knives, benchmade is making one, I forgot the number they gave it. Basically its a benchmade auto T2.

They harseys are probably my favorite knives.

The T3 is the knife that I judge all 5 inch bladed folders by. If you have big hands like me and are not looking for an EDC your not going to find anything better than the t3. Keep in mind the sebenza in the picture is a large.

Good luck, and if you can buy a T3, buy it there is no other big folder like it.

The 3800 NTK? It was a cheepened version of the D2 which was the auto T-2. I can't find one anywhere. I read that they only made a few as samples to dealers and then didn't produce then because Benchmade and Harsey couldn't come to an agreement over something.

Sounds about right. Benchmade killed Lone Wolf. One of the neat things about Lone Wolf was all those customs that came out. Sad.

Since you already have the Bone Collector in the walnut handles, you might want to look at another BM knife, the 275 Adamas. Doesn't have wood handles though, but it definitely packs the "BEEF". Of course you could have one of the fine craftsmen here at BF make a set of wood handles for you. I've thought about having a set of handles made for mine and not put the holes in them, just leave them solid.
