I have both and like them alot. Maybe the Harsey deal ran it's course. I think their fit and finish could be a bit better, but that design is great. Good materials. The S30V has held up very well, and the handle ergos on the T2 are awesome. I imagine it is a money thing. Their newer models seem to cater to a lower price point. My only beef with the T series is that they ride a bit too high in the pocket with the clip. I carry tip down, so no problem there. I used to EDC the T1, but that has been replaced by a Benchmade745 mini-dejavo. The T1 is my heavier work knife, and the T2 gets to go outside when I am recreating.
