Thank you, I have lurked and hesitated on here off and on for several years, letting other people save me from myself too. I am looking forward to owning one of these.

I think that I want one with a horn handle, and I hope that this one will give me an idea of what I really want in a knife. A man I used to work with had a couple and I thought they were awesome but that was just a passing encounter with them, but I could tell they were of great quality. After I have this one for a bit I can make an informed decision on what to get next.

I'm curious if either of you work these knives or simply have them for show? I'm a fan too but if it doesn't fit in my pocket I don't purchase it.

I've used mine a bit and honestly I wish I had pulled the trigger sooner. It's a very versatile system between the kukri and the karda. It's as functional in the in the woods as it is fun to break out at the cookout.

I use a machete some at work and when I hunt so this should fill its place. The heavier kukri blade should make short work of saplings and pelvis bones.

Dammit… this was posted on my birthday. I should have paid attention and got it!

Mostly hunting and yard work for me. Some styles handle things better than others so consider your needs, but in general they're are great for clearing firing lanes, creating ground blinds or doing some yard work if you have to do cut up fallen branches or cut back some brush.
