This year's show was a very good show! Lots to see and buy! The highlite for the weekend was a new piece of hardware for the folder community. a bushing screw combo that works great ( I tried it today ) and the value is probably the best I've seen in a long time. I used it with a set of bone scales on a 3.5" folder. No more losing a expensive or even a reasonably priced set of scales to peening. No peening needed to install the scales with this hardware combo. They are available only from Jephco as it is his design, this guy has got to be the main stop when you are looking for hardware or want a custom designed piece of hardware made.
Brewer knives again sold out before the end of the show he is truely an up and coming star of folders. C-M Forge gave us a taste of his new Bowie ( not finished yet ) and he is doing some neat things with bolsters. Stice Knives had a really nice heave duty knife that I hope to purchase soon. Champion Knives had some fantastic pieces and if you don't know his work you should check it out and spend some money there. I think we should all say a huge thanks to Jerry Moen for the work he does on this show. The next show I'm looking forward to is the of course the Blade show in Atlanta. If the Lonestar show was a warm up for Blade it is going to be one hell of a show.
