Does someone know anything about these knives?

I can't find a lot and the things if find say it was a nice knife.

30v blade with titanium handles and anodized titanium liners.
Made in Japan.

If i look at the blade shape i would say it looks like the Sere2000 and the Fallkniven Pxl.
Both also made in Japan. Coincedence;)
This Lonewolf is an "oldie".

Someone offers me this knife for trade.
It's used but good condition. Whats the worth of this "used" knife.
And how does it do as a user knife?

Thanks Joel

Hi Joel,

Design by Brian Tighe. What I read about them at the time was that the quality was good. They did not sell very well as they where heavily discounted at the end.

Looks nice, although i really don't like ''clip points'' or ''swedges'' on small knives since it effectively prohibits hard push cutting.

I always wanted one, but even when they were discontinued and discounted, I was poor. I would have spent up to $125 for a new one, which is what they were asking for originally, IIRC. For a gently used one, I'd expect to pay probably no more than $75 or so. This is all just my opinion, of course. I believe the close-out price on ebay was around $65-75 at the lowest point.

If he offered it for $50, I'd jump on it.

They must have not marketed this right. Maybe not enough people bought them and used them to create a buzz. But S30V coming out of Japan with titanium handle? Sounds sweet. Maybe the handle is not so visually appealing, but as far as the specs go sounds like a solid user knife.

The trade would be a "light" used spyderco chinook3. So something more than 50 dollars i think;).

But the chinook can be bought new at this time and the Tighe should be worth a little more if there is any collector worth on it.
But i found some old threads were they were sold "cheap".

They were not very popular because i had never heard or seen anything about them.
