Hi folks. Just bought a DVD of "Under Siege" for $5.88 from Walmart and got a jolt from that scene where he pickes up a cooking knife and throws it at a big wooden circle on the wall.
Or at least, I used to *think* it was a cooking knife. 'Pon seeing it again on DVD I realized it is one of those ubiquitous Gil Hibben throwers that we probably all have screwed with at some point!
I got a kick out of seeing that. It was on Ryback's cutting board next to his chef's knife and some chopped celery. I found it a little funny that I had not noticed that it was not a real kitchen knife when I had seen the movie previously. Later on in the film, when Ryback kills an enemy soldier with a throw to the neck, the knife is pulled out bloody by Tommy Lee Jones' character, who proclaims, "This is not the work of a *cook*!" Heh. I suppose not.
Anyone here pick out that knife when the movie was new in '92?
