Long forum load time

For some reason the main forum page has started taking a LONG time to load on my home computer. It seems that the holdup are the recent conversations etc. that are in the right hand pane. Did I lose a cookie or something? Thoughts?

I appreciate it, when you say "disk cleanup" could you be more specific? Like a defrag or ????

i defrag nighty, theres a program in accesories called disk clean up, that cleans all temp files and stuff off you computer, i really dont know much about it, i only answered as i had a similar problem, and this appeared to fix it

There's been a consistent pattern of browser-related issues like this, particularly if using IE8 or earlier. More often than not, upgrading to IE9 or using an alternate browser has made most/all of the difference.
