Long handle khukuris?

It's one month since I received my first HI khukuri, 20" AK, after struggling with customs over half a year. The khukuri now seems radiating more beuty than strength, as my wrists and forearms got stronger. Nothing to complain about... But somehow I came to want another HI. It's an ordinary story most of forumites know. Tastes change, from here to there, each change will add another khukuri to your collection.

Then I remember a thread about khukuris with a little bit longer handle. A 12" OAL Sirupati with 1" longer handle (and as shorter blade) will be very nice to my purpose to carry it everywhere, do every chore with it gripping near the blade for light jobs, and at the end of the handle for heavy ones.

Have any lucky guy got such extra handled khukuris? Or the idea totally abondoned?
Do you have any comments or advice?

Anything appreciated. Thanks!

Uncle Bill, thank you for replying my question. 7inch blade and five inch handle sounds nice to me.

Let's wait four forumites are interested, as I can't afford five of them myself by budget constraint. My first kid (supposedly daughter) may pop out anytime now.

BTW, have anyone succeeded in putting his hand on long handled khukuri when talking about it before?

Satoshi-san,
I am curious about you customs difficulty. I am assuming that you live in Japan. What are the current regulations concerning the importation of blades there. If you want to e-mail me direct, here is my address: gt500cz75@earthlink.net.
Arigatoo.

Uncle, thanx for offering, but I'd take normal 12" or 15" Sirupati. Do you see it's funny a Buddist,me, want a present to myself
for Christmas?

Broken arrow, you're correct about laws in Japan. Wish you my luck that helped me have my first HI khukuri.
