Here is my latest finished project I made for a trade with a friend. This knife was a long time comming, I forged it in 2010 and just got around to finishing it.

5160 steel 9" blade 14.5" OAL with a sharpened clip. File worked mild steel guard. Figured curly maple handle with fancy scalloping, stained with Aqua Fortis (Nitric Acid), Tung oil finish. The sheath is Basswood & deer skin lined with raised pattern. If the handle looks alittle chunky, it is, the new owner has some big hands and he requested a thick handle.

Sweet! Looks fast as hell. I agree with Scott, both the handle and the sheath are great compliments to the blade. Nice job!

Fast and pointy.
I like it, a lot.
Very nice handle treatment, Steve.
