Greetings fellow knifenuts
My post number is slowly growing (nothing compared to some of you blabbermouths
), but it will be another couple of years until I reach 1000
. So I decided to make an arbitrary 600-something post giveaway.
Well, I've had my 2011 forum knife for quite a while now and used it, but never could really warm up to it. I love everything about it except the blade shape. Seeing how so many of you guys would give your <insert appropriate bodypart here> for one of these, it just doesn't feel right keeping it around.
It has been sharpened, has a light patina from use and the cap lifter is slightly modified (like many others), to improve its bottle opening capabilities.
Also up for grabs is an old Swiss Army Knife. It is a Modell 1908 made by Elsener (Elsener is the family name of the Victorinox founder) from 1944.
This giveaway is open to all the regulars here in the traditional subforum. And please only enter for the 2011 BF knife if you don't already own one, it wouldn't be fair to all the other unfortunates.
Just pick the one you'd like and post it together with any picture. Your favourite knife, a nature photograph of lands far away from here, ... just surprise me
.
I'll let it run for about two weeks, then the lucky winners will be chosen by means of random numbers.
