Long Shot for the Case Experts

I've seen them before but after scouring the web I can't locate a pic or any information. Does anyone happen to remember what year Case produced the Blue Christmas Bowie? If you're familiar with Case it's the same model as the 1836 bowie but this one had a blue handle and some engraving on the blade for Christmas.

There is currently a Red handled model that is still available but I can't locate anything on a blue one.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't recall ever having seen one of the 1836 Bowies with a blue handle. I have seen them with white, black, and red handles. I have one with a black handle and a Davey Crockett (sp?) portrait on the blade with a brass strip running down the length of the spine.

Chipawa had a 4-set Bowie set out with blue handles. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.

Anyway, I hope someone pops up with more info.
