Howdy - I have had a scrapivore for a long time, it's been sitting in my drawer because I dislike how it feels in palm for work other than emergency work. Is there anyone that still makes scales for them?
I've got 2 up for sale here. These are both used and stripped.
Mega Raweiler.
SR101 steel and tan micarta. The steel under that coating is pretty nice and machine marks are not terrible... I'd call it a "not quite comp" finish. This thing is a beast. Probably the most bang for your buck as a camp blade. It has chopped and batoned, but the edge is still perfect. I can make a sheath upon request at a discounted price to go with the blade. Asking $245
Mega Swamp Warden
SR101 steel. I am the original owner. It started black and I stripped it. It looks pretty...
VJT
made some nice ones for the mega warden. Idk if he's actively looking to make some for folks.
I can attest to VJT
’s absolutely spectacular work on making scales for the Scrapivore. Instantly makes it thousands times more usable and comfortable, along with his amazing sheath!
If you ask him really nicely (and pay him well) you might be able to convince him to make some more
