Hi, my name is Mauricio Daletzky. I'm Argentinian and I want to show you a work I've done and the way I did it as a kind of introducing myself with an extensive step by step (lots of pictures).

A client asked me a replica of one of my knives and I took photos to document this work.

I hope that you don'tt get tired of so many pictures

Thanks for viewing and comment.

Hi guys, continuing with the step by step, let me tell you that while I'm forging three blades at the same time, I'm going to finish just one which will be an interpretation of a criollo knife with sheath and handle in ebony and damascus. With gold inlay and ivory micro-carvings.

Great work mate and thanks for taking the time to document how you got there.

well I've just learned more in the last 5 minutes than I have in a month. Thank you so much for posting this!

Hi, continuing with the tutorial let me tell you that I'm going to dedicate this stage to perform the following steps, normalized blade, prepared the strip of gold, coined in blade, normalize again, hardening, tempering and inlay work on the button.

I also want to thank you for watching and comment. I apologize for my English, I'm not sure if I wrote the right terminology.
Regards.

Ps:The waves on the blade pattern was inspired from a work of Bruce Bump. Thanks Bruce.
