I've had the offset for a while now, and I admit that I don't carry it that much due to it's size, but I really like it. It's like 2 knives in one. The lower part rips through soft stuff like rope and plastic like nothing, and the upper part is great for slicing. It's not really thin, but it's got great blade geometry that really lets you cut. IMO, it's worth every penny. I personally think it's more useful than the bump due to the exaggerated blade shape, it's more like two knives instead of one, and you can use the middle part like a big serration to snag and pull material into the curve. It's almost like a mini tracker.
