so, i accidentally found out i'm getting a Koster K-Tusk for Xmas. i had the TAD page in my links folder and the wife picked it out.

love the 'drop butt' grip, like some traditional Malay/Indo knives, useful blade shape. should make a good EDC/SD blade.

anyone -not- like theirs? any positive/negative comments from long term users?

One of the best EDC fixed blades I have. I carry it cross-draw at a slight angle. Mine is one of those shown in Daniel's "Cornucopia" post with S30V.

Great knife.

I love mine. It is on my belt always, (except at work). It is a great user of a knife. Mine is a D-2 version. I also wear it cross draw in horizontal fashion with the grip just to the left of my belt buckle. Very accessable there, and it makes it very convenient to draw, use and resheath after working with it..

cool. pretty much the carry configuration i planned on. something a little bigger to take the place of the Emerson LaGriffe behind my belt buckle.

17 days and counting.....
