Long term storage lubricants/options?

So I'm going to Australia for 2 years and need to store my knives. I'd like to know which lubricants y'all use and how y'all store them. I have a small collection of benchmades, spyderco, some swamprat, a ZT and a sebenza(might take the sebenza with me) and I want them to be safe and rust free. I live in the south and my parents will be moving and holding them for me. They will be moving to DC so the storage needs to be portable.

Cosmoline and a 55 gallon drum. ;)

In all honesty, a light coating of oil and a sealed container will more than likely keep them safe.
 
Mineral oil should be fine. Also can be used w/ a food prep. knife as it is safe for consumption. Have a great trip!...Cheers.
