Long-Term Storage of a Cru Wear Millie

So I just picked up a brand new Cru Wear Millie and Im thinking of keeping it as a safe queen in the safe. When I purchased it I was thinking of using it but the handel is huge for the blade length. I think if I start carrying it it wont last long in the pocket and be replaced by the Sebbie. So my question is what is the best oil, or procedure in general for storing this knife longterm. Ive seen pics of these millies that have tons of discoloration on the blade. Right now this thing is minty fresh and id like to keep it that way for awhile for later sale down the road. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I use both Marine Tuff-Glide and Frog Lube, either of them should have no problem keeping your blade looking new if reapplied every so often.

Breakfree CLP or Rem Oil (synthetics that won't harden or get funky over time) and store it in a ziplock small sandwich bag in it's box. Bring it out every 25 years or so and relube.
