long term storage of assisted folder?

Do you think the spring will weaken with long term storage in the closed position? (i.e.) Dominator.

Mate, If your concered about the life of the spring
buy the A.G. Russell special non assited Dominator.
I've just rec'd mine and it's quick enough that I
don't miss a spring assit at all.
