Pick up this 4 over a year ago from the big river. It was a return cause of an edge problem. It's the dreaded Serrated BK4! It was practically free I couldn't get it in the cart fast enough .One of the first things I did was deepen the logo while the etch was clean and fresh. Wet stones and ceramic rod are all I have ever used and with the 4, getting to the edge all the way to the handle is a problem with a rod so I use the side of the stone o_O 91 or anyone that knows, what is right way? I'm finally getting there the hard way . Here's some pics

Nice job! My Reinhardt came like that too, but it was more of the coating that was serrated than the edge. It all came out after the first sharpening anyway...

I'd sharpen it on the side of a stone too... or use a small file or sandpaper wrapped on a file...something like that

A thing or beauty right there ... a thing of beauty!
Thank you SALTY for your over the top kind words :)
As toothy as it was it was still sharp :p

Thank You knoefz for your input and for your thread on sharpening  it inspired me to go back to this 4 ;)

I sharpen all curves with my Smith's diamond steels. They are oval in shape and will catch every bit of an edge in a curve.
Thanks 91,I will check them out I'am way over do for an easier way when it's more than maintaining. I have a little round diamond rod but it's round and will not get in tight and will leave a nice little half round dip
Here is a pic of the start of the edge where meets the handle that is a hassle for me
