im the worst, I change what I carry all the time and for some reason I get really bored and have to change it up. My new challenge is to go at least a Month with one knife and see where it goes from there. I have a brand new 908bk CF and M4 and I’m starting today!! If others are interested just join in on the convo and we will post photos as we go! Here she starts. Edit!!! Only one knife for a month I gotta else just one blade, I usually carry a pioneer, small slip and a modern folder, I’m dumping all but the modern folder and only one from my collection

I’ve carried my mini reflex for a month....but I’m also carrying a bark river city knife and a Bradley 2..oh, and a small SAk in my watch pocket....wait..did you mean ONLY one?

I've carried a Kershaw Blur for 4 months in a row once and it served me well as a bullet proof work knife but lately I haved moved towards lighter thinner work knives like the Kershaw Natrix ot the Spyderco Delica with their wharncliffe style blades. Good luck on your efforts and keep us posted skivic. These are the knives are the work knives I rotate between lately, the top 2 stay at home now.

I wouldn't want to do it, but I for sure could carry my Bugout everyday for a month and not ever have a need for anything else.

I pretty much can rely on my Foray everyday, I just choose not to some weeks. I have found that the Grip is too fat, the Barrage too much geared to "stabby" the Nimravus Cub won't fit in my pocket sitting down, and the mini-Grip is entirely too small for my hand. So, that leaves me the Super Phreak and the Foray. Or, a Case folder in my 5th pocket, but then there is always another tucked elsewhere.

Shh!!! I have a Stryker II on the way! It might be the answer for me! :)

Challenge accepted sir. I usually always change up what’s in my front right pocket, but in the back right always rides the crooked river. I will pay more attention to the usage this month to contribute to the discussion if anyone is interested in the abuse of s30v :D

I don't think I can make it a entire month. But I love my new new 940 in CF, has a amazing feel and light to. I think it will be in my pocket daily for a bit.

It has already been asked without response - is this about consistently carrying a specific knife...or carrying only that knife? Carrying a given knife for a month is easy. Eliminating other knives in the process may be a bit more daunting.

I could grab one of a dozen or more modern folders, and be content carrying it for a month or more...the same for traditionals and fixed. Take that same knife and make it the ONLY knife I carry, and it becomes a different ballgame. That "There can be only one" stuff ended with Highlander.
(I could do it, I just wouldn't be happy about it...)
I remember when I used to only carry one knife. Those were simpler times - this could be fun, after all. Let me think about it. (Unfortunately, while my preference would be a fixed blade, I simply can't carry one at work)

only one knife for an entire month, use it for all your tasks! I’m plugging along cut crap load of cardboard at work and of course the m4 holding an amazing edge still!
