Auntie and Gentlemen,
Just dropping in to say hi. Besides a spur of the moment purchase in March, it's been 5 years. This was a place of comfort and steadiness in a difficult time for me. I made friends, found solace and laughter and kinship. This place is so much of what makes a home.
Wow. Lots of new faces, same quality of character and spirit that has always been the mainstay of the Cantina.
2001 brought me here after picking up one of the first (maybe the 2nd) AKs Sher made for HI. Truly a monster. I called Bill soon after and unfortunately fan-boy'd my self to embarrassment. No lie. Very gracious man. Still drink a greenie on his birthday.
I was moving boxes of Khuks the other day and thought I should drop in.
With all the changes, the forum remains the same.
P.S. I do miss the shared jabs with Tsimi, Rusty's presence and input, Cliff Stamp's reviews, Walosi's woodchuckery and Yvsa's wisdom. Never found the location of the guano cave and one legged dancing girls. Hahaha.
Thanks Yangdu. You continue to do an amazing job.
