Long time no see

Hello there!

I'm an old member here, returning 8 years later. Not sure if anyone remembers me or not.

Not sure how or why I stopped posting here, but I've recently started building a backyard foundry. This of course has got my brain back to thinking I want to get a forge setup and start making knives, and all of a sudden I remembred this site.

My cruicbile furnace's refractory is in the process of drying so I'm looking forward to it's first firing. In the mean time I've been melting metal in a dirt and brick furnace.
