I've cleaned this bad boy up adn was playing with it alittle today, man I forgot how nice these things are.. I'm now looking to collect a few (for carry) older ones are what do it for me.. I like something around my era '70 or before..

here's a pic before I cleaned it up with some wd-40 adn a scotch brite inside the knife, then followed with a touch of oil at pivots, looks a little better now..
also stropped it.. very nice indeed..

lastdaze those pumas from the 70s & 80s were great knives. i used to have a decent collection of several models especially the stags./ in their day they were the great ones.

I have never heard of "Stainless Super Keen Cutting Steel". They must have had a special heat treatment to get the extra Keen in there:D

That knife is in great shape for something just under 40 years old.

Those old Pumas were really, really well made. Good to see one.

thanks guys,

I've had this knife for about 5yrs and never gave it no mind.. even had it up for sale with some other pumas here, but decided to keep this one..

I'm sure I'll be getting some case/schrade in the not to distant future..

That 835 is sweet!:)
I love my old Puma's.......

Here is my old 675 which has been one of my regular edc's for over 25 years...
