Any chance we will see a longer Campanion?
I'd like to see it offered in 7 and 10" blade lengths. I know that the Brute and Magnum are longer(I have originals of both), but I like the blade shape of the Campanion.
As popular as Busse,CS,Livesay,TOPPS and other big blade brands currently are, I think these would do well. Probably lower priced also, judging by the rest of the BK&T line.
Think about it guys, Campanion I,II,III!
Thanks for bringing the BK&T line back!

TenBeers,
Thanks for the interest! I hear you about the longer CAMPANION blades, and that idea has surfaced before, but.....

One of the things we[Ethan and CAMILLUS] believe in on this project is that you tailor the design to its purpose. We don't want to simply make longer/shorter versions of the same knife, and tell everybody that they fill different roles. Look for more designs down the road from us in the BK&T line, but look for new, purpose driven models,...not just longer or shorter versions to fill out the line.

We may have a 7" bladed knife, for instance, but why not change the design to maximized the performance of a 7" design? This is our thinking on the matter, but we do pay attention to input from customers, so keep the comment coming.

Lets also keep in mind that we have the Jerry Fisk designed MAGNUM CAMP knife and the Becker MACHAX yet to unveil this year. We will introduce them at the BLADESHOW in June. That will be all the BK&T models that we will introduce in 2000, and probally through the first part of 2001. So future models are just that, FUTURE models, so lets not get carried away
