Longer eyelets???

I got some leather (bellies) from Tandy. I just wanted enough to play around with. The leather is nice and thick and I like working with it so far. However, I can't seem to find eyelets long enough to go through 3 layers of leather. The ones I found at Tandy were barley long enough to go through 2, and I had to cut some of the leather out at that. Where do companies like Sharpshooter and JRE find eyelets long enough? I see them on their sheaths all the time. They must exist. Am I just not looking hard enough or do I have the wrong size? I was looking for 3/16.

I've Googled them before and there are manufacturers of them out there that will be glad to sell you 1,000 of them at a time.
I'm sure that's how JRE and Sharpshooter get theirs.

That is exactly how Sharpshooter gets his - then he has them nickle plated in a batch.
