I have a Flying Fox that I like. Today I ordered another one that I plan on putting a longer handle on it. I'm thinking 24" or 28".
Has anyone done this? Did you like it?

Thanks,
Andy

I have one with a 19-20” handle. I like it. I don’t think that I’d like it as much if it was any longer!

Yeah the final end-to-end length once I rasped down a standard boy's axe handle to fit left it at 22" and it's about perfect for it.

I would just take this opportunity to remind us that axe handles in the 20”-24” range pose some inherent danger. Their length is perfect to swing down into your shins. Not that they can’t be used safely, just that they require an extra level of attention.

I still need to slim the handle down a little but it's perfectly usable as-is. Just haven't had time.
