Longer screws for G10 side of Emerson/Kershaws?

They sent me a set of the longer screws this week for my CQC-3K. Yay!

But . . . the longer length doesn't do me much good if the diameter of the longer screws are smaller and thus drop in clear of the threads. Ugh. You've got to be kidding me. How has Kai not figured this out?

Yup me too. Sent a nice message over to their CS. I will also be calling CS on Monday. I will let you know how that goes.
(click! rant mode ON)"Kershaw's customer service is second to none". That's what the I constantly hear from the fanboys. Well I'm definitely not feeling it. This is ridiculous. Before anyone stars with the "Why all the fuss over a $35. knife...?" crap. I feel ripped off. That's why. I bought it to have a lefty Emerson Wave knife without forking over something like $200 for it, then getting it tapped. So to me this is simply false advertising, or bait & switch. Kershaw suckers me into buying its product by promising me a feature that is not available, and then I have to jump through hoops to actually have what wqas promised. Could I go out and buy screws that fit? yup. But this is their mess and I'm so ticked about it that I may just start calling CS everyday. I should just let it go, but alas, it's not in my nature.
