A while back, I purchased a wood scale for ZT 0550. Aside from seeming a little thick, everything appeared to be in order...I got distracted, and didn't put it on the knife. Now, months later, I went to swap the scales; and the stock screws are just flush with the bottom of the scale (meaning they aren't long enough to secure the scale onto the knife).
I know I could take the mating surface down a bit, or drill the countersink hole a little deeper - but, frankly, I don't want to screw around with those options.
I'd like to give the scale a try, as is, so I'm looking for longer screws to make that happen. Any suggestions?
