I realised lately I've been living a lie. I always said to the wife & friends I like under 3 inch blade size in traditional folders. However I have noticed I have more 3 inch plus blades than I thought. I'm sure that I am not the only 1😄.
Share your longer than 3 inch blades folders.
Here is a couple of cases of mine.

Not-so-old stuff in my new traditional (4 years) appreciation. And yeah, I have a lot more 3" and longer than I thought I did. Longest is the Laguiole, then the Trappers. The rest are various amounts slightly longer than 3". Shortest of these is the Buck 112 drop point, right at 3" blade length, which will change over time with the occasional sharpening. Mainly included as a size comparison, chonkier than everything else I have except the Boxer, and even though the Boxer is bigger the 112 feels larger of the two. edit - just went back and re-measured, the Boxer also has a 3" blade and closed lengths are about the same.

If mine are too modern, I'll be happy to remove the images.
No No No.
They are! What kamagong kamagong is saying I think is slipjoints are not the only traditional style. There are friction folders, ring pulls, spanish traditional ratchet locking(not sure of the correct term) & of course lock backs.
Before creating this thread I thread did my due dilegence & searched first. There are a lot of threads aimed at slipjoints.
I didn't want that as I like all traditional folders. I made a point of putting folders in the title, so it's not limited.
So keep them coming.
cheers

Wasn't sure if I was missing something, didn't want to mess up your thread.
