This blade has been in my shop for over a year... finally got inspired to finish it off. This is a light fast knife.

1084FG Steel
13 3/4" OA
8 1/2" cutting edge
4 3/4" Handle
3/16" spine at thickest, distal taper, tapered tang
distressed oak handle, rawhide wrap, hand peened brass pins.
sheath is 8-9oz cowhide, hand dyed, stitched, tooled and waxed with a keeper post and leather ties.

Very nice, Rick. I think this might be my favorite of yours so far.

Looks to serve many useful purposes. Would make a pretty nice carver for one.

Very cool!!! How do you do the distressing on the handle slabs? Or is that a natural occurance you've used to your advantage?
